WHO: Narcissa Malfoy and Demelza Robins
WHAT: Cissa is collecting her slave
WHEN: Tuesday, September 13, 2002; evening
WHERE: Azkaban->Diagon Alley
RATING/STATUS: G-PG/Incomplete
Upon receiving the owl which granted her a slave, Narcissa set about immediately to retrieve her. The girl was rather young, about the age of her son, but she would surely be able to do the work Cissa set for her to do. It wasn't like she was going to work her too terribly hard anyway. Mostly Narcissa just wanted another human being with which to have contact with. Lucius was rather aloof lately, and it wasn't like her son often dropped by, and she missed them both terribly. Hopefully the girl wasn't a Muggleborn, but she was so desperate for the interaction that she supposed that even a Muggleborn would do. It would seem a shame, really, to spend her energies on such impurity, but almost every person deserved to be treated with at least a hint of respect, regardless of blood.
Making sure she looked as perfect as possible, she straightened her robes, which were not her finest, but she was going into the dark and dirty recesses of Azkaban and she didn't want to ruin her nicer things. Apparating with a pop, Narcissa strode confidently into the prison, identified herself, and stated her business. A dirty, unwashed guard grinned at her with a most disturbing look in his eye, but led her to the correct cell without a word - which was good because Cissa did not stand for lewd remarks such as the ones he seemed to be thinking.
"Get up, girl, and come on. We are leaving," came her calm and cool voice. "I am not to harm you. We are simply going to clean you up, buy you a few things, and then you are to come work in my home." Narcissa did not extend a hand to help the girl up because that would sully her robes, but she also did not get impatient as she waited for her to exit the cell.
