INFO re: CAF RIVER CRUISE
Here are directions from hotel to the CAF dock, via public transit. You can take the #6 Jackson Park Express bus from the Michigan/Balboa station, which you can see from the map is quite close to the hotel, to the CAF dock (last stop). Here is the #6 bus schedule. You can also walk there in about 25 mins (according to googlemaps).

For those of us going on the Saturday 5:30 pm CAF cruise, unless there are any objections, let's plan to meet at 4:45 at the clock near the main entrance off Michigan Avenue of the hotel, to catch the 4:50 bus. I assume the buses run on time; the bus ride is about 10 mins; that way we'll be able to get to the dock 15 mins beforehand even if we miss a bus or end up walking.

	:) Here is a fandom event calendar that Scarlet Malfoy made--the river cruise isn't included because there may be different groups of Snarry folks going at different times. I happen to be going at 5:30 on Saturday and it looks like a few others may be as well, but didn't want to announce one time as an 'official' time in case it would appear to narrow the options. These may sound like stupid questions, but I've never really been on public transportation before (Amish buggies don't count!). Is five minutes going to be enough time between meeting and getting to the bus? Or should we all try to get there by 4:30? Do we need a ticket for the bus ahead of time? Where do we buy it? Or does the bus take exact change? How much would that be? And does it have to be change, not dollar bills? I don't want to hold anyone up out of ignorance.

	Yes, you can pay cash on Chicago buses (though not on the subway/el). The fare is two dollars and you can use bills. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
