Severus had sensed Harry's arrival and opened the door. He was shocked at the boy's appearance, but hid it well. He's not a boy anymore, he told himself. He's eighteen now, a legal adult in both the Muggle and Wizarding world. He wouldn't admit it under Crucio but he had been in love with Harry ever since the boy had returned from fighting Voldemort with the Tri-Wizard cup in one hand and the dead Cedric Diggory in the other. Sirius had tried, but they hadn't had a long enough time together for Harry to feel truly looked after.
