Prompt/Summary: At the end of OotP, Sirius doesn't fall beyond the Veil — Snape does. Tired of the war and Voldemort's strangle hold on himself and others, Severus sacrifices himself for the greater good. Instead of dying, he learns to accept himself and live life to the fullest — and that includes accepting Harry's love.
