Annette, I'm sorry I'm a snail replying to this lovely, lovely gift. You have written my favourite genre, forced bonding, and that made me very happy. I love the glimpse of Harry pre-bonding, how he just comes to his adult responsibilities, and the first of those is to satisfy *snerk* Severus' Life Debt. I immediately thought: poor Harry, here he goes again! Which rather defines him, doesn't it? In fact, I've just reread Shattered Souls (& Hearts) and that was very like that... oh blimey, what next? (I loved those, btw). Continuing the Poor!Harry theme, we get: "B – bed?" Harry had thought this would be one of those marriages of convenience; where Snape got half of his money and his good name or something. He never dreamed Snape would want to – would want to – but his mind couldn't even form the thought. "This is about sex?" hehehe.... and Snape's reply? "My dear Harry. Everything is about sex. Or money. Or power. You have all three." Classic! this story is full of win, as they say. And this: "Requested twice a week?" Harry read out loud. "Does that mean I get a choice?" ehehehehe, oh, Harry, you're just asking for it! and of course Severus gives him (and us) it: "Yes, we can do it more if you prefer," said Snape with a smirk. hehehehe. Annette, you're a total lady, and I love you to bits. Thank you for this, and for adding to a genre that just cannot have too many fics. hugs, Rakina.
