This story is brilliant. I wrote myself notes as I read so that I could come back and tell you my favorite parts, but the notes quickly deteriorated into words and phrases, most of which are yours because you write so vividly.
The children. Kreacher. 12 Grimmauld Place and its furnishings. The robe-sucking dressing table. Snape's volatility. Harry speculating about Snape's father, drawing the parallels between them. (That hit me in the stomach – how easily Snape could follow his father's footsteps. Just lovely.) Non-self-sacrificing Harry who follows his heart. Scent tied to memories and visceral emotions. Hermione's cascading household spells! Cleverer. Ererer. Wolfsbrain. Parseltongue seductions. Virgins. White fingers intertwined like the petals of night-blooming flowers. The hottest, most tender first kiss/frotting scene ever written. White briefs, black wool socks and a scowl. ♥♥♥
I suspect I know who you are, dear Mystery Writer - you have a very distinct turn of phrase. But frankly, even if I don't know you and you don't know me, you've given me a gift that is simply, absolutely perfect. Thank you so much!
♥ hugs and promises of puppies, kittens, kisses - anything your heart desires, with much love from klynie ♥
