I was really enjoying the Muggle aspect to this! That's not a "venue" in HP that I read a lot, but it's not for a lack of interest -- I'm just not aware of a lot of stories that plot themselves in "our" side of the world. But I just loved the idea of Harry in the Muggle world, sharing a flat with someone named Emily. It was just so normal... and intriguing. And accessible in a cool way. Even that is a story in and of itself -- how did Harry come to have a flatmate like Emily? So many fun questions to explore there.
Harry's story about Severus was heartbreaking but very well done. And his interaction with Severus after the Ball was cute, too, especially when Severus didn't realize he was speaking out loud.
You do realize this story is just begging for a sequel, right? Or maybe that was me speaking out loud.
