Beta sign-ups!
If you are a beta and would like to volunteer your services for our lovely participants, this is the place to do it - please fill out the following form to indicate your availability and what you are willing to beta. Our deadline this year is Nov 16. If you're a participant in search of a beta, please pay attention to the betas' specifications and choose one appropriate for your work - and give them plenty of notice, too!

If there are any questions about betaing or if you're a participant in need of a beta, email us at snarryholiday [at] gmail [dot] com.

I would be willing to help with plot, characterization, SPAG, canon, Brit-pick, or just serve as a hand to hold.
Squicks: um, none
Availability: I work during the day but I am available every evening and on weekends.
Other notes: I am Harry Potter(okay, Snarry)obsessed and would be thrilled to help someone with their project.

Willing to help with: (plot, characterization, SPAG, canon, Brit-pick?)I mostly do plot/plot hole check, SPAG, cannon and a lite Brit-pick
Squicks: (chan, incest, non-con, bestiality, whatever you don't want to have to read/view) extreme non-con/rape, extreme chan (under 15) and narcro.
Availability: (when will you be out of town, busy, desperately working on an important project, etc.?)I'm mostly here, I can be reached by email or Y!im (info on my user page) most of the time. If I'm not on leave me an offline.
Other notes: (preferred format for fics, anything else an author/artist should know) Word works.

Willing to help with: Everything - I'm best at comprehensive betaing. If you really want someone to pick every aspect of your fic apart, I'm your beta. If you prefer a light SPAG/canon check, I can do it, but I'm more comfortable with delving into your writing.
Squicks: For betaing, I'll read anything. I'm not easily squicked, anyway.
Availability: Any time, any place.
Other notes: I like to talk with the people for whom I beta to make sure we're on the same page, so open communication is important. I am not a 'nice' beta, so if you don't want concrit, someone else might be better for you. I can temper the amount of concrit I give, but it's best if you prefer your betas harsh and honest.

Willing to help with: I'm not gifted in the ways of Brit-picking or canon!compliance. However, I do have experience tackling SPAG, character, and plot problems. My strengths would best serve you if you're prone to getting stuck in the middle of your story's development.
Squicks: I am not at ease with stories featuring prolonged humiliation, torture or pain -- emotional or physical. And if I'm uncomfortable, I'm probably not going to spend the time you need me to spend on your work. So, if you have something that ranges from the fluff to light angst, I'm your woman. Any darker, I'd recommend you go with someone more comfortable with the genre.
Availability: There are five days in the beginning of October when I will be in Bermuda and not prone to answering emails. Otherwise, I'm near a computer most of the day!
Other notes: I can work in Google Docs, but I'm most familiar with MS Word and would prefer that.

Willing to help with: art critique (since no one seems to be offering that); I'm very good with spotting anatomy mistakes and wonky perspective. I may not always be able to help with the later, though.
Squicks: I'm not really comfortable with gore, but I'm willing to work with anything.
Availability: Anytime.
Other notes: I'm most comfortable working with PS and similar programs. I just don't get Corel (and other programs working with vectors).

Willing to help with: plot, characterization, and SPAG. I can't Brit-pick and I've moved away from canon with the last 2 books. I'm especially good at final read-throughs (SPAG) and plot inconsistency.
Squicks: Seriously, almost nothing. The only thing that really bothers me are one-dimensional or OOC characters.
Availability: I typically work during the day, from 8am-6:30pm PST, four days per week. Email me for more specific availability.
Other notes: I prefer Word.
