Wow. Just, wow. This is breath-taking - so intense. The compass speaks of so many emotions - insecurity, love, the fear of being left alone... that kind of intimacy that both of them aren't quite sure yet is something the other really wants, because it's still so new and shiny, or it's just after a huge change in their relationship has taken place. The scenario I imagine is probably in a post-war AU, where the war just ended (in which they were lovers in that h/c way), and now the two of them have to determine where they want to go with each other... AH. This is so inspiring, honestly. *tries to hold back plotbunnies*
I wish I knew more about art beyond the "I love it!" comment. I wish I could actually be constructive with my review :/ I love the layers of this piece, and that the compass in the front is exactly where Harry and Severus are joined in the back. That's just such a powerful sign of they belong together - and I agree with another commenter who said this was so much better than a ring - because a ring is somewhat clichéd (says the particularly unromantic me...), and this... God, this. This so awesome I don't know what to say anymore. Much love! ♥
