I really enjoyed the light, bouncy and somewhat outlandish banter between Snape and Harry. Snape’s quick climb from hell to heaven and his (all too brief) stay in the latter were hilarious. Mulroney was great, and I liked the role sentient Hogwarts played in this story. Very inventive. My favourite Hogwarts moment was its reaction to McGonagall’s reprimand:
Harry pinched himself, certain he must still be sleeping, when the castle produced an open window. A curtain fluttered through, bringing to mind a petulant child poking out its tongue.
