Normally I don't like independent!Harry stories because they usually turn him into an invincible superhero, but I really enjoyed this story. This Harry is using his brain and questioning the people around him, instead of seeing things in black and white (like Snape's mean so he's evil and Dumbledore's nice so he's good). He also takes what he wants, but is sensitive to Severus as well.
Loved the letter to the Wizarding world. I've always thought it was cowardly of grown people to wait for a kid to take care of their problems, and I'm glad Harry laid out their options. Great job!
