Such an awesome story. There's so much to say about the plot you put together. That you managed to work in the current economic crisis and have it as the turning point for Wizard-Muggle relations was a brilliant touch. It set the tone for the entire story and had me wondering what twist was going to happen next. I loved that I didn't know who the mole was or that Zacharias was a good guy until close to the end.
Your characterizations were wonderful. You were spot on with Severus and Harry - both of them fighting for the same end but in different ways (just like the book). Hermione was fabulous. Not only is she intelligent, but she is fearless here. Her joke about being a "Page Three" girl had me laughing. I think my favorite part of the story is what you do with secondary and tertiary HP characters. You give new life to Zacharias Smith, Anthony Goldstein, Dennis Creevey and so many others, weaving together such an interesting story.
I never thought I'd read a story where Voldemort was the preferable villain, but he was nothing compared to Symes. In fact, as the story went on, I found myself waiting for him to die (no, I'm not this violent, I promise).
Perfect story to end the Games. I'm so glad you're on my team.
