Duuude.
This story is so sick it's not even funny...I like it :B I was always tense through all the parts and damn, you got something there, I don't know, there were parts in the story where I had to stand up and swear and breath deeply because of the nervousness I felt O.o, and there were times when I just wanted to weep like a little girl. First because of Ron's death *shudders* it hit me hard and I almost stopped reading it because of it, he is not my favorite character (Snape is) but like Emily Waters said "leave the trio alone". The plot in itself is absolutely over-whelming, I think it was too much to my mind, and like I told you, there were times that I really needed to stop reading before exploding. Brilliant, grim, complicated, realistic, beautifully dark. I really despise Symes and Zach really wants me to murder something (he just confuses me), anything, it's quite gorgeous the way you describe things every time Edwin shows up, all immaculate and happy with his family. The way Ron, Draco, Lucius, Astoria, Victoire died was really somber. You detailed every death with such detachment and precision, it makes it even more hard to digest before I'm crying like a helpless child. It's even more beautiful because you don't put you feelings like a person but like the omniscient author you are. Sometimes people tend to reflect their feeling in their writing, forcing us to swallow those instead of the ones we feel. The plan to bring down Nemworth is so freakishly brilliant, I grinned just like Teddy did *sobs* Snape being the centre of the ELA is so powerful and sexy :B Though Justin with Hermione makes me kind of mad*growls tearfully* I’m proud to say I knew Justin was the one who betrayed them, that was quite obvious :P The reasons behind his actions were the ones that surprised me. Cauldwell dying had me in a fit of hysterical whimpers and Teddy had me terrified! How do you do that *shivers* Although I loved the plot and conflict for this I think we all came for the Snarry...and I really didn't see any of it, there wasn't any relationship development between them, anything to distinguish them from the others, it couldn't have been anyone because Hermione had Justin, Pansy had Anthony and the others were more like flash characters, even if their involvement in the big picture was relevant (not even Severus because he was somehow with Astoria). When Hermione called Severus a liar for saying it was a grief fuck I almost wanted to trottle her...or you. There is not reason for Harry and Severus to be together, they just made eye contact and started with The Drama, I really didn't see any deepness at all. Not the deepness I expected from Snarry. I mean, Harry shares things with everyone, he could fuck anyone, he could relate with anyone, so why Severus? What is the thing that distinguish those two from everyone else? I really didn't see a special connection just the two of them could share and that's the point...I didn't see a thing. The lust they feeling for each other has no basis, Harry just happened to kiss him drunk and we don't even know why he likes him and why Severus seems to like him back, by the beginning of their tryst Severus is the one worrying and Harry is the prissy prat -_- All in all, Severus just stays with Harry because Draco and Astoria can't fill the place, and Harry does because he is tired of being alone. Severus was right. Why he stayed with Harry it's really disappointing. He even was better suited for the not "blond" boys he used to sleep with. Even Pansy had more relationship development with Harry than Snape ever did.
This story might have work like a holy script if it wasn't supposed to be a Snarry, the main picture is absolutely heart-wrenching, mind-thrilling, gorgeous work, I really didn't know about anything in the beginning, but the way you describe things made me understand without you going for long and boring definitions.
The problem is the Snarry, which was just hollow, at least in my interpretation.
