I'm so, so glad that you liked it. This was something that I desperately wanted to write, a true cross-over as written by Watson in Conan Doyle's style. It started as a 3-some with Snape, Harry & Draco but that didn't work; it was just too complicated for a single observer/POV to keep track of all the subtly changing relationships so I abandoned it. The bunny would not lie down, though. It was going to be a collaboration for a while with a well-known, much admired Snarry writer, who had to pull out due to RL etc, and still the bunny lurked at the bottom of my desk drawer, growling softly every time I poked it with a pencil. Then I saw the prompts and genres in the Games and the bunny sat up and begged (in a voice that sounded just like Watson's) and all the characters stepped up and the whole thing just played out in front of me, with some advice and suggestions from the plot bunny wranglers that prevented it from unravelling on a couple of occasions. My next project may be to illustrate it in the style of the Strand Magazine's original Holmes & Watson drawings. You won't believe how much I enjoyed writing this. Thank you for your encouragement along the way! *sloshes single malt into glass and slurps disgustingly*
