Oh! thank you so much! (and your keyboard crashes made me laugh out loud! heh)
I'm so glad the characters were real and recognisable for you in this very different universe. I felt it was my responsibility to stay true to the heart and soul of why most of are drawn to Snarry in the first place: their dynamics, their fire and their flaws. It was both challenging and amazingly freeing to wrap them in the vastness of Egypt, but it's a journey I'll never forget!
So glad you liked Severus' entrance. It started out as a very short scene, but as more of his story was revealed through the brothers, it became clear that 'Harry' and Theshen needed more info and more time to observe the situation.
Impulsive and brave canon!Harry: *hugs him* I love how Severus really doesn't know how to deal with mercy, but eventually comes to terms with it by giving Harry the gift of belonging and physical contact. They're both such flawed and interesting character studies. Seriously, I don't know what everyone doesn't ship them! :D
Thank you so much for your amazing comments. It means so much to me when people take the time to tell me what they liked (and what they didn't, although that's not as fun. heh)
