One of the reasons that Snarry resonates so much for me is the fact of their damaged and lonely souls, and how, despite their differences, they find in each other a kindred spirit, someone to fill that void. Oh, I so agree. For me, their canon connection is so strong that, as writers and readers, we should be able to imagine them in any setting and era. Their pain and struggles are unique, and yet universally understood and accepted. I believe that any strong character (in the hands of a skilled/creative gardener author) should be able to survive a transplant. :)
I'm so glad you felt immersed in this universe. Funnily enough, I've been stealing observation strategies from fan artists, and it's been invaluable on my journey to become a more visual and tactile writer.
The story left me with as warm and satisfied as a really good cup of milky, sweet tea - loved it! Best compliment ever! *hugs* Thank you so much for your comments. You've got me smiling like crazy!
