I adored the image of Severus serving Harry and yet keeping his dignity. Thank you!
As the story unfolded during the writing process, the initial 'kneeling' scene became more important than I could have imagined. Some writers do a masterful job of stripping both Harry and Severus down to the ground and then building them back up, but for this tale, it was really important for them to keep the core of their personalities, in any situation. Harry doesn't want to be the master, and Severus doesn't want to kneel to someone half his age, but they do it, and we get to see them struggle and then come to terms with their roles. It was so wonderful to go on that journey with them.
Thanks again, Whitecotton, your comments mean so much to me. *hugs*
