Holy cow, that was *awesome*. The drawings, the intensity created by a mix of sparse dialogue, music and the way the screen slides from scene to scene and dialogue... I can't really pinpoint why exactly, but it's the perfect mix, and the storyline is extremely compelling and intense. Movie-like, as someone said, only different because we sort of... walk through the tale like a labyrinth where you never quite know where corridor leads and what will be around the corner. I loved the way Snape's resignation and Harry's urgency jump out of the artwork. Brilliant ending, too.
