Summary: Snape's idyllic life with Lily is disrupted when the Ministry of Magic takes an interest in them.

The last time Harry had gone out to fetch ingredients, he'd taken over two days to return, and when he did, he was covered in scrapes and bruises. He was none to careful with his body in this form, and Snape didn't want him unsupervised.

This was really Harry at his most messed up. Brilliantly done!

What a brilliant, twisted story! I don't know how I missed reading this one the first time around, but I'm so glad I checked the master list and saw that I missed it. Harry clearly has issues dealing with his life, and it does seem that Severus exploits him at the beginning, but they do love each other. I greatly disliked Arthur and Hermione here. They imposed themselves upon Harry and Severus when they weren't asked, all because of their nosiness.

Wow, what a bizarre and well-written story. This is sort of...ruined Harry, but I'm glad you suggested the beginning of improvement for him at the end. This made me think of that strange disorder in which people believe they will only be happy if they have a limb amputated, and go to great lengths to arrange it. Harry is a total basket case here, and his frantic efforts to find peace through this weird compromise are sad; it doesn't seem that he will ever really be at ease, despite the upbeat ending. Their life is very cramped.

Well done and very original!

	finally got around to reading this. awesome! I have a huge kink for Lily!Harry and this one pushes it to the next level. usually it's Severus who had the difficulty distinguishing between Harry and Lily, it was very interesting to have it stemming from Harry. The psychology of this is wonderfully twisted. Great job on this! (Reply to this)

	This is a fantastic story! I can't believe I'd forget reading it! I just found it again, re-reading old Snarry Games. The potions work and the psychological aspect are stunning! I'm saving this one to my hard drive this time! (Reply to this)

	Wow, just wow! The depth of psychological identity issue is nerve wrecking. The potions idea brilliant. Left me feeling ... Wish there was more! Sequel perhaps? (Reply to this)
