So many things to love about this story. I'm always a sucker for people reading aloud to each other so of course I was going to love this. Snape as an audiobook recorder is such a great idea. Also loved Harry's job and kept waiting for a scene with Snape (and Harry probably) sitting in his beautifully carved rocking chair. I'll just keep imagining that part myself.
The really great part though is the emotional arc that weaves through the whole story. Exploring what happens after Harry is rejected by Snape is really interesting and I was so moved through all its parts. When Harry finally cried so did I.
And then there was more to come! The plot twist with Harry's father still being alive and not being James was a big surprise, for me anyway but you handled it realistically. I actually can't wait to read it again. Congrats on another great story!
