It has been too long since I read Wuthering Heights - this story reminded me of all that I loved in the book - you evoked the feeling of it beautifully. Working the HP characters into the Bronte-esque romance was seamlessly done - the charactrs were IC and perfect for the story. And the narrator, Mr Woodlock, was so very Nineteenth Century Novel perfect.
Me being me, I had to cry in places, and yet the melancholy didn't weigh too heavily - that vision at the end of the two together brought a sense of enviable joy. Lovely.
