When I saw you were participating in the Games this year, I think I experienced my first ever *squee*. I've been so excited waiting for this to post!
And now that the moment is here, I'm undone.
The first Snarry artwork I ever saw was your 'Disarmed'. I still have it as a background on my computer, and I never tire of it. You might say it's the image I keep in the back of my mind whenever I write, for it shows the feeling I try to convey with mere words of how I see the love between Harry and Severus. I see I'm going to have to alternate it with this one now because your 'Fire and Ice' so beautifully shows the other side of their relationship.
In 'Disarmed' Harry's total surrender is only surpassed by the tenderness on Severus' face and his touch. But here... yes, here, the total trust Severus gives to Harry, the keen concentration on Harry's face, the gentle intimacy of the moment simply takes my breath away. *This* is the epitome of Snarry, why I keep coming back time after time, why I'm compelled to write it. Thank you for this, and thank you for a new inspiration.
