Wow. Absolutely wonderful art. Stunning story. That Harry would perhaps question his decision to have Snape's portrait done I think is quite possible. ;) But what you've done with it is intense, phenomenal. I'm a bit speechless. Great job.

So full of anger and tension and hate and panic and remorse! AND HOPE! AND HOPE!

Lovely work! I can't believe you coloured it all by hand. What a great story, all in one package.

I'm a sucker for any art done with colored pencils (one of my favorite mediums). The details are so amazing, and I can't keep my eyes off the two phoenixes. Their tears healing each other. *sniff*

What a truly powerful idea! I would have loved to read this as a story, but you've illustrated it beautifully. The frenetic, harried style of the comic captures a real sense of urgency and mental chaos - the emotions that seem to be driving Harry. And you add to the legend of the Phoenixes.

Excellent.

Very intense, very original - actually reminded me of Shakespeare's "The Phenix and the Turtledove", in which the two birds throw themselves into a pyre for love! Er, I know. Different story, same ending however. I love the final image!

What a wonderfully angsty entry! And unique, the story is. Risky for Harry, but just the sort of thing he'd try. Liked the double entendre of 'burning day'. Great job!
