Artist's Notes: I wanted to give a film noir twist to this piece, wherein the Order of the Phoenix is actually a private investigation agency. So here you have partners Agent Potter and Agent Prince, the good cop/bad cop duo of the wizarding world.
Much thanks to the mods, Team Phoenix, and all the fabulous artists who make the games a great joy to be a part of. :)

OK, let's try rational thought now. Black and white, the look Harry is giving Severus, their clothes, OMFG! I just love this. Amazing concept. Beautifully done.

Wow. Beautiful! I love the shades of the shutters and the shoulder holsters. Most of all I love Snape's face. It reminds me, oddly enough, of a young Christopher Walken. Must be the stare. I can't stop staring back.

You know, normally I'm all about Snape and somewhat ambivalent about Harry, but omfg your Harry is gorgeous here. Fabulous attention to detail on the clothing and the gritty tone of the piece is awesome. Love it!

I love it! You have captured the 'film noir' effect very well.
I love Snape's Jacket, the shoulder holster, Harry's smouldering look, the lightening of the shutters, the graininess (is that a word?).
Great contribution!

'Dell, I believe I may be in love.....

That's so fantastic! I love the intensity of Severus' stare and the little details like the buttons on his jacket, the lily on his lapel, the way he's on the defensive with his body slightly in front of Harry's. I also adore Harry's stance and the way he's looking at Severus and even though his arms are crossed it's obvious that Severus is the tightly-wound one whereas Harry is more at ease. The way his tie is done up loosely and his slightly unkempt appearance really adds to that impression and I'm in LOVE with his bottom lip and his eyebrows... (you know I adore the way you do eyebrows) and the way the fabric of his shirt creases and the rolled-up sleeves and...

Hot, hot, hot. They're not even doing anything but they still manage to be so sexy. lol

I really like this one and I love the noir theme because really, how else would one be able to get them into muggle clothes like these? I love the how Harry looks unkempt and messy, the untucked and wrinkled shirt, the loose tie... *sigh* And the shoulder wand holster had me giggling. I love that. I wish Snape would where a suit more often! It looks so good on him! Man, now I want to read a story for this. If only I had the talent I'd do it in a second. Either way, this gets two thumbs up for sheer brilliance. ;)

I'm amazed how evocative it is despite being only two colours! As well as the noir, I'm getting a bit of a Japanese anime type feel as well (or I could be totally wrong there, LOL!) Loved it anyway, that's about as good as my art criticism gets, I know what I like ;)
