Artist's Notes: In order to feel like I was meeting the prompts properly, I tried to make it ambiguous as to who is whom (god or prince) in the picture. I feel that both Snape and Harry have the attributes necessary to play either part. According to lore (and wikipedia) Odin is often seen with his two ravens Huginn and Muninn (Thought and Memory). He is also associated with shapeshifting into animals. Odin welcomes deceased warriors into Valhalla, but he is also known to disguise himself, as in Ynglinga saga, as a traveler. He is the god of deception and trickery as well as wisdom and prophecy.

	I love the atmosphere in the picture. The way you portrayed Harry and Snape is very special. I don't remember ever having seen a short-haired Snapewith a beard fringe, but it works. And I love the ravens too. Wonderful background information, it adds a lot to the picture. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	A very intriguing setting-the look suits Snape, in spite of being very different from canon. Harry's scar on the side of his face, a battle wound I would guess, is quite clever. The background, their clothing and the ravens are all great touches. I think I like most the intensity I feel in the look between them, as well as Snape on bended knee. (Reply to this) (Thread)

I love the wintery landscape and all the details of their clothing, boots, gloves! that lend it the nordic feeling.

I adore the ravens, and their names! Those birds always do seem as if they know something, dont they?

bearded!Snape is really gorgeous, even without the long hair I adore so much. For all the AU elements, their connection is so very Snarry: calm, clear, strong, deep feeling and loyal always, that's our Prince.

	I saw this and it made me think of 'The Dark is Rising' series. The color and the ravens did it, I think. It's an intriguing AR concept, love the colors and the Prince and the deferential Snape on knee. Beautifully done. (Reply to this) (Thread)
