Oh wow! You really captured that moment perfectly. The looks on their faces says it all. And you're right, their relationship is incredibly complex. Tension definitely define this ship. :)
I love how busy yet simple the background is (f that makes sense) and how subtle your colors are, it makes the confrontation between them all the more intense.
Really well done!

Their expressions are great here! I especially like the you drew Harry here. They are both just so intense, and you really captured that aspect of both men! Great work!

Oh, this is beautiful. Very very lovely. One of my favorites of the fest so far! You've captured the expressions on their faces perfectly, and I love the textures/color scheme used. :)

I'm impressed with how you only washed the digital colour over the wonderful pencil sketching. It's sometimes hard to know when to stop, ya? The sparce, almost monochromatic colour actually lends a strange complexity to it that I find almost mesmerising as the characters themselves. So very well done!

This is one of the most original and faithful renderings of this moment in canon that I've seen. It's bleak and raw, and captures both the anger and frustration that Snape must have been feeling, as well as that moment of devastation and anger that Harry was facing, both at what he felt were Snape's crimes, and his own inadequacy to deal with the situation.

Excellent work.

Wow, Canon!Snarry! You captured Harry's conflicting emotions perfectly not only on his face but with his hand and pose too.

This is one of those canon scenes that fascinates me. I'd so much like to know what was going through Snape's mind at the time. Like how you made this so dark, how Snape has the upper hand, but Harry still looks defiant. Lovely work!

So much anger here, the subdued colors and the strong lines emphasize the tension in the scene.

This is incredible.

It draws me back to that emotional charged scene and the looks on their faces as they glare at each other, it conveys so much more than just anger and hate.

Also, kudos to the drawing of the grass. That always drove me nuts in art class, drawing the small details. I'm more of an painter myself, so much more freedom in it. ;d

this is so completely stunning. the underlying pencil work is dynamic and evocative. the subtle colour is perfect in its moody blush of warm and cool. and, guh, one of the most pivotal canon moments for Our Heros. the hint of Draco, the looming spruce trees, the glowering dusk, more guh! As a landscape painter obsessed with atmosphere, I say you have nailed it.

Oh, so much squee! Harry's face is to die for. And I love the pose of his hand, how much motion is implied in this. Wonderful!

Excellent rendering of one of the best moments in canon, IMO. So intense, complex, raw and powerful. Both their expressions are spot on. Great job.
