I watched TNG with my parents, so it was kinda a primer, then I watched DSN but short of thinking that Kira and Dukat had a wonderful chemistry (oh yes, I was into darkish stuff even then) I didn't get too involved. Although I watched TOS, I appreciate it more in retrospect than I did as a youngster. Then there was Buffy fandom at the same time as Voyager, more or less, so it was really one or the other that I drew first; although I distinctly remember trying to draw ships over and over again, and playing Starship Creator even though it was one of the dullest games ever, and painting on Trill spots. I have got to do that again some time. Maybe not on film this time, but to wear out. :D But then again, I love dressing up so it's not surprising. My Snarry Games entry had to compete with the construction of my Vincent Valentine costume. I wasn't so keen on Troi; if I was any character on the Enterprise D, I reckon I'd want to be Spot, Data's cat. Cause seriously, that thing was spoiled, had a whole starship to wander, got a new look with almost every episode, and was gender challenged. Oh, and got to sit on Data's chest and purr. Miaow.
