Oh, such a marvellous story! I have a love/hate relationship with AR - it can be done poorly, with unrecognisable characters, or it can be done incredibly well. Like this. Of course, knowing you wrote it, I had no doubt it would be incredibly good. Loved it!
What a wonderful, fascinating way you mixed all the Dracula and HP elements into the story. All the characters you included. I was especially pleased to see Sirius (and overjoyed it was he who killed Bellatrix and how very fitting and sad that he was gone too.) Sanguini! You even included Buckbeak! Ha, that was awesome. And Dumbledore's "Severus, please." I loved the Malfoys as vampires. All the Death Eaters and Voldemort. And I must say I never expected I'd ever read a story of yours where Snape kills Draco. ;-)
I liked the way you handled Snape's conflict and struggle with his faith. Perhaps the religious themes would have resonated more with me if I were not an atheist but I also saw it in a more generalised way, as a struggle with one's own principles, whatever those may be. Even if that wasn't your intention, it totally worked for me like this.
Very engrossing, beautifully written story and a great way to end this year's Games. :-)
