What a romantic story! I really liked the snippets into Harry and his family's life, interspersed with the lives of his descendants. Let me guess--Marion is Adhara's direct descendant. That way Al and Scorpius could get together in another generation. *g* :)
Even though I'm not a Ginny fan, I have to admit that I felt sorry for her. Harry clearly wants what the Weasleys have, and married her thinking that she would share his same values about family. Ginny, on the other hand, was the youngest of a large family with little money. Presumably, she wanted a life filled with the things she was denied as a child, especially attention. Draco always wanted what Harry had and got with her out of a warped rivalry.
I loved Al, and his fierce desire not to be his mother.
Severus, with his constant presence and aid, was wonderful in this story. The ending was handled very well (although I could have read much more).
