Okay. Printed it out and used it as a bedtime story which denied me a lot of sleep.
Sleeping Beauty/Briar Rose were some of my favourite fairy tales. I love what you did with them.
Odile Lalique (Delicious name) is for me one of the best things of the story. What a character! Creates the wards and sneaks in a way out. Her Slytherin-ness is wonderful. I think she has jumped to the head of the list of great OCs for me.
The roses...Severus's roses...wow.
Harry and his need to grow up...yes, he does. And he needs to learn to love and to understand what love really is.
Ron and the rest of them with their scars...no one walks away scar-free from war.
George and his need for Fred/s. Owen Hermione and her lover (she found someone intellectually her equal, and loves him in spite of his less than hunky figure...I so approve -- not that you needed my approval LOL, but it makes such a nice difference!)
the runes OMG, the runes...which respond to Parseltongue, which only Harry can speak. Which makes one wonder if this is part of a plan.
Then find me.
Sigh. THAT is so erotic!
The stack of marking didn't diminish a lot, but you know, who cares!
