Oh, yes. This story is love! I absolutely love this Snape! At first I thought he was going to be changed so much that I wouldn't recognize my Severus in him. I was wrong; he was incredibly believable and very much the Severus I recognize. He was just magically unencumbered! Also, probably all that lovely meditation helped him to relax enough that he became a very believable 'post-war' Snape. Harry was spot on. He was just the way I imagine Harry maturing, if a little socially stunted due to his illness. (That is to say, I see a mature Harry being quite moderately social. He's the sort of person who would be popular even without 'the-boy-who-lived crap) I loved Pendragon, absolutely adored Pennyfeather, and I'm ready to move into the cottage right now! I've seen a lot of BigBeautifulMansion!Snarry and DustyRundownSpinner'sEnd!Snarry in the post-war realm of stories, but as far as non-Hogwarts settings go, I'm not sure anything can beat your moderately sized, sensibly laid-out cottage with it's breathtaking garden and delightful anachronisms! Bravo!!! Story, wonderfully full of a gradual love-making. I see a happily ever after!
