I was struck at once how Harry's task after the war was to grieve, and that no matter how long he would've delayed the task--by celebrations, even marriage--he'd've eventually had to do that hard work at the Veil. How pitifully just that Snape would be the one to save him from himself, this one final time, when Harry was tempted to excess and despair.
