After reading the other comments--
Aha. Now I've read the previous comments, some of the plot got clearer for me. Some. I don't know what it makes me, but reading stories I rush forward and take everything written exactly as given, without thinking deeply into the sub-matters or undercurrents. Just can't for some reason. So... What was the grand idea? (If it doesn't bother you too much to clarify?) What were Snape's goals about Harry and the wand and Davies and whether they changed in the end? Because I'm lost.
Also, I didn't for a second believe that Snape's memories of his past life were at all hazy (only due to the passage of so many years, of course). I'm yet to read a Ginny I'd like; she's way too boring in canon to make anything of a positive character in fanfiction. In my opinion, of course. What's with Harry being 'flawed'? Nonsense. He is very human here.
