What a fascinating read! I found the new name compelling. Owen Newlin: Owen means rebirth, and obviously "New + in" in the last name seems planned. I also liked how they are mirrors of one another, since Owen reversed is New-o, which really implies the rebirth into a mirrored version. Those plays on the name really seem canon to me, since JKR is so innovative in her naming.
I really enjoyed the plot, and the push-and-pull between Harry and Newlin. I have no idea really how much or how real the memories of Snape are to Owen; he was so angered when Harry shared the memory of Snape's death.
His rebirth was creepy and fascinating. I loved the idea of him having to grow up again, and Harry being the older man in their new relationship. You did a terrific job with the Elder Wand, and explaining the end of Harry's marriage.
I thought this was a terrifically crafted story! Thanks for sharing it!
