Join the Pantheon of Great Snarry!
Wowie zowie. In your comments you said this story was 50% planning first, then writing. It SO shows--the way you set up the story to have us expect the typical things you see in Snarries--people not understanding their relationship, Severus not wanting to be with Harry's friends, etc., even up to Severus's antipathy for people turning into agoraphobia--all believable in a typical story. Then you started to pull the rug out, and with each reveal, the magnitude of the situation became more tragic. Then to find out that it was a punishment from the castle--brilliant!!
And that's just the plotting! The characterizations, dialogue and relationship between Harry and Severus were also fantastically well done. I loved them. Incredible job, and I can see why the quality of the stories in the Snarry Games is so high if you're at the helm, making sure of it. I love the worlds you create in all of your stories. Thank you for another fantastic one that will go in my top 5 favorite Joanwilder stories!!
