Hi there, jadzialove. I'm not quite sure if your remarks are addressed to me or to whitestar: I didn't mean to imply in any way that I felt Dracofiend had handled it any less than beautifully - in fact, I had misunderstood where she was coming from entirely! But whatever reading one made of it, I felt very much that she was quite right that infidelity might often be a matter that doesn't cause fireworks, and the emotions might be resolved without a big drama, whether both parties know or not. I don't think this fic was in any way about Severus telling Harry - I think, from what Dracofiend has said, that she saw it as Severus resolving the situation, whereas I had misread it as Harry resolving a situation he had discovered. As such, I disagree with you that had Harry known, a confrontation would have been inevitable, because in reading this I assumed Harry did discover the infidelity. Phew! Is all this sounding convoluted? A big thank-you to Dracofiend anyway for a stimulating, well written story! Philo
