To the point of being afraid to annoy you. Still don't understand. How do you manage to stuff pieces of *soul* into a pensieve? Splitting a soul seems to be a dreadful and rare process in the canon.
Then, I still find myself utterly confused with the '60/40/50' matter, I confess. So, okay, for whatever reason, Snape put a part of his soul into the pensieve and that part aged separately even as he died physically. All right. Then, the cloned body existed for 50 years, as you've said - that I get. But what does the number 40 has to do with the cloned body, in this case? The way I read it, in around 1970 the clone body was created, from around 1980 it was Eileen who looked over it. Until the present time. All in all, 50 year old clone. I think. Or am I really astoundingly thick?
On the other matter, I'm not saying such a Harry/Ginny relationship cannot be. Just... Never seen a similar one myself, and cannot imagine such a pair being called a family. More like, I don't know, married pals, maybe. Well, very un-romantic. =) Noone's pressing you to accept the mean!Ginny scenario! =) That would be just utterly ridiculous. But, I'd say, a comfortable already-more-habit-than-love companionship, I guess, is somehow much more believable than your progressive take on a non-commitment modernistic family... Well, beyond my comprehension. But educating, thanks.
Hope I do *not* disturb you too much with my curiosity.
