Re: Brilliant job!
Yeah, canon doesn't support the idea that Harry is a professional anything (apt title!), except perhaps a professional Gryffindor, and especially nothing related to the K word. Even with the Wizarding world hanging in the balance, he doesn't seem to take killing Voldemort all that seriously. When you say easy, do you mean writing his jumbled, somewhat detached thoughts? He seems confused a lot, haha, which is entirely too canon but useful for situations when he should be struggling with his conscience. Confusion's a great weapon for denial.
When reading Snarry, I usually have more trouble connecting with Harry than with Snape. Part of it is that I go in with a Snape bias, but some of it, I imagine, is because the writer writes with a Snape bias. A complex Snape is practically fed us from JKR, whereas with Harry, one needs to pick and choose and weave a bit more. This, on the authority of someone who has never written Snarry.
You're welcome; this story was a lot of fun to read! Thanks for the luck; going through midterms feels like willingly handing my brain over to the loving Whomping Willow. I'm sure my coherence is accordingly intact.
