This is such a fascinating exploration of raising children in the postwar generation! My heart goes out to Harry. He's obviously trying so hard to make his children's generation as happy as possible, but the sad fact is the the shadows of the war still loom over them all.
I have so much love for chef!Snape :) Great to know that he's still his snarky self. I'm glad now that Harry's older, he's able to see past his childish hatred and realize that he and Snape share a connection that no one else does.
Seeing them come together as two lonely souls on Christmas Eve just about melted me. There's just something magical about the Christmas season :)
