Artist's Notes: I'm thrilled to have participated in the Games again this year! This was the longest I've ever spent on a single Snarry piece and this festival made it totally worth the time and energy. I always feel like I come out of this experience as a much improved artist. An enormous "thank you" to all fabulous people on TeamAngst who helped me out so much in the concept design and inking stages.

Oooh, freaky! And very cool! The transparent hand/arm is wicked! And I love the bright colours that you used, despite the very dark subject matter.

Also, harry's tear is hearwrenching. Good work!

This is so cool! I love the details, especially the bones. At the same time this is horrific, it's also very sad.

If I could give you a higher rating for angst, I certainly would, because this is one of the most angst-filled images I've ever seen.

Awesome. I love Snape's transparent arm and the desperate way that he and Harry press against each other (the mirror), trying to touch.

Harry's tear is perfect.

Very nice! And very angsty, too! I like the sense of urgency and desperation that's coming from Snape. I also like the way you've done his hand all pressed up against the glass like that.

This is exquisite. I love the hint of gore at Snape's neck, and as others have said, the ghostly/skeletal arm is awesome. The thing that pulled me in though was how incredibly touchable the whole thing is. From the hard surface of the glass to the soft folds of cloth, it's just... fantastic. Absolutely wonderful work.

My goodness, the colours! I am entranced by them! And by both mens emotions! So intense! I love Snape's hand and how's he's coming out of the mirror. This is the first time I've seen your work, and it's gorgeous! I wonder if you have others? Snarry? Just, wow, this is wonderful. :D

Oh yayyyyyy!!! OMG I had only seen the pencil sketch on teamangstart and this is just amazing to see the final product! Wow! Such a great job - love the vibrant colours and the passion and ANGST ZOMG. It is made of so much win. I LOVE how you did the skeleton in Snape's arm!! It's all so vibrant and richly toned.

Oh, my GOD. Oh, how gorgeous. Oh, that ghostly skeletal arm!! Harry's face, the twist of his mouth, the tears--the blood running down Snape's face! I love the Ministry of Magic emblem on Harry's robes, and the tendons in his hands--I LOVE this!

I love all the elerments of horror you've incorporated - the vivid, almost lurid colors, the cracked ornate mirror, and blood, gore and boney hand of Snapes see through arm. His pallid, glowy skin, pressed up on the glass ... for a kiss. It's beautifully horrific and horrifically beautiful!

I love the see-through arm, but the shoulder part is too high. It looks awkward, like it's not Snape's other arm.

Oh. My. Heavens. This is amazingly done in concept and execution! I love the picture. The arm coming out- words fail me. A story based on this would be hair raising!

I hope you intend to draw lots more in future. ;)

Whoa! This is striking - the horror isn't in the things like the blood or the skeleton arm, it's in the really frightening relationship between the two. Well done!
