When Harry slipped his hand into Snape's, he wanted to hold tightly and never let go.

When Harry's arm draped loosely around his shoulders, all Severus wanted was to lean closer.

The linen tablecloth was the only thing that saved Severus from embarrassment when Harry rested his palm on his knee.

A tactile creature, a man whose nature had lured him into trouble and betrayal in the past, Severus was all too aware of his weaknesses. He could not allow them to be exploited again, to become public knowledge.

But the moment he and Harry were alone, behind closed doors...
