A/N: I wanted to write something for that image ever since I saw it posted. Stella did such a great job portraying the chemistry between those two.

“I WIN!” the brat crowed.

“Well, well, Mister Potter. You’re improving.” Five previous games left Harry wearing a shirt and a flabbergasted smile that hadn’t faded since Severus deviously removed his glasses leaving Harry squinting at his cornered king.

“Bout time, too!” Slender fingers closed in on Severus’ king. “Pay up.”

“Very well. What will it be?”

“Dunno,” Harry murmured into Severus’ shoulder. “Just start from the top. I want it all off.”

Severus arched his eyebrow. “Just what makes you think one win is worth all that?”

Harry grinned smugly. “‘Course it is. You’ll distract me from winning again!”
