Snakes and Lovers
Title: Snakes and Lovers

Challenge: Written for snarry_100 prompt challenge 386: Parseltongue.

Warnings: This is my first time for any fan fiction writing. I hope I rated it correctly.

Disclaimer: Don't own these characters. No money is being made out of this work.

Summary: When Harry speaks in parseltounge, the professors knees go weak.

It was so unfair when Harry did this. He knew that his ex-professor was the top in the bedroom, but when he started sighing out the sibilant language of the snakes, Snape was putty in his hands.

Powerless, the older man savored the boy’s breath against him as the words tickled back and forth across his naked, pale skin. Unrestrainedly arching against Harry’s wet, hissing mouth, Severus fought to regain control of his body, to no avail. Putting up a stubborn fight, but never overcoming Harry’s sweet breath, he gasped as the parseltounge words teased out his sweet release.

First off please let me welcome you to the snarry100's. It's always a wonderful treat to see someone new joining us. You put the biggest smile on my face simply by posting this.:)

Now, onto your drabble... I like the narrative style you chose for this piece. The lack of dialogue here focuses your reader's attention on your description of Severus' state of mind in a way that adds strength to the idea that Sev's reaction to Harry's use of the parseltongue has slight undertones of a rarely explored sexual compulsion. Beautiful use of the prompt and really original in the sense that Sev doesn't actually want to enjoy the arousal that his own reaction to the hissing is producing. This was an amazing first offering to our humble community. :)

PS: I'm not really sure if you'll appreciate me butting in here to give you some advice but, you should really consider cross-posting to snape_potter. Also both the snarry100 community and snape_potter have LJ and DW accounts. The posts you make to one of the sites don't automatically upload over the others, so... because you are only posting in the snarry 100, IJ, there are a lot of people who are missing your posts altogether, thus you are limiting significantly the amount of feedback/exposure to readers that you could get simply by cross-posting. Generally speaking the communities at LJ are the most active when it comes to leaving comments, but I strongly recommend you to post across the board in both snarry100 and snape_potter. Your work is truly outstanding and it deserves to be given the kind of exposure that will allow it to get really noticed. :)

Thanks so much everyone! I know I'm probably really late to arrive on the Snarry train, but I didn't read the Harry Potter series until this year. I thought it was decent, but when I decided to look up FanFiction for it I was blown away!!! I read so much of it and it totally changed me. Now I am a writer, and I just can't LIVE without Snarry!!! I am so hopelessly addicted. lol My favorite stuff so far is EVERYTHING from A_spirit on fanfiction.net. Just wow. So anyways, nice to meet everyone, very glad you are enjoying, I'll eventually get around the the cross posting (I have 3 daughters and a very busy life!), and I hope no one minds if I just keep cranking out drabbles for the old challenges. It's so fun. :P
