Initially, she'd wanted him for Ginny.

Awareness had led her to hope he might come to care for her Charlie.

It'd seemed only right and natural for him to become a Weasley in some way.

But now, after hurtful words were forgiven, she gazed upon the dark heads bent toward one another, watched as the golden cord was wound around their clasped hands, and witnessed an unexpected transformation as warmth filled the normally cold black eyes.  She saw the happy glow on Harry's face, and the light in his bright green eyes.

And she understood.

She didn't always know best.
