Challenge 135 ~ Slow Breath

florida_minxie ~ she knows why ~ *smooches*Harry awoke to the slow breath stirring the hair on the back of his neck and warm flesh pressed against him. The unhurried rocking of a hard prick against his arse made him groan, a deep chuckle arousing him more.
Knowing an interruption could come at any moment, Harry reached towards the nightstand, dislodging his glasses and his wand clattering away from sleep-clumsy fingers. Groaning, he held up his hand, smiling when the lube responded to his silent summons. Rolling back, Harry thrust it at Severus, never opening his eyes.
"My impatient brat," Severus murmured, putting the lube to use.
Laurel scowled at the book she held, bored with the colorful moving pictures. Dawde lifted his head as she dropped the book on the floor, and 'Nyx pounced on it in delight. Ignoring him, Laurel stood up, dragging Uni'torn to the edge of her rig. She could see Daddy 'tooking and Sevvy got to help him.
"Datamgamenanawtomada!" Daddy! Come get me now! I want to help, too!
Papa appeared in front of her, lifting her from her rug. "Such a roar, my little princess, I can see you inherited you patience, or lack thereof, from your Daddy."
Laurel just smiled.
Sevvy ran into Papa and Daddy's room, stopping as the lights came on. Daddy needed his wand and he sent Sevvy to get it for him! Looking at the night'tand, he didn't see the wand, only a little green jar and some mag'zines. Setting Dragon down, Sevvy looked again, but couldn't see the wand.
Frowning, Sevvy said impatiently. "Daddy wand, 'tome here!"
Sevvy waited his hand out like Papa's when he called somethin' and it was there. The wood was warm and Sevvy liked the gold and green sparks shotting out the top.
He and Dragon carried it carefully downstairs.
Severus watched little Severus come down the stairs, carefully taking one at a time, carrying Harry's wand. Laurel's slow breath told him that his daughter had fallen asleep in his arms. A wonderful aroma wafted in from the kitchen and outside, fat, white snowflakes drifted past the window. Severus found himself greatly enjoying these simple things.
Over the years, Severus had precious few moments of peace like this one and rarely the time to appreciate them, therefore he chose to simply enjoy. Sevvy gave him a delighted smile, which Severus returned.
"Well done, my little serpent, such a clever boy."
Harry stepped out of the kitchen when he heard Severus' voice, ready to admonish Sevvy for the whisper of magic he had felt. He took in the beaming smile on his son's face and the look of pride on Severus'. Laurel was fast asleep, face pressed into her Papa's neck, one hand curled into his robes. It was the perfect picture of the family Harry had always yearned for and the love he felt for them all welled up suddenly, threatening to choke him.
"Daddy!"
Sevvy threw himself into Harry's arms, and all he could do was hug him tight.
