series
Sevvy ran between the rows of flowers, looking for flowers for Papa, the funny house of windows was warm. Wrinkling his nose at the smells, Sevvy gripped Dragon tightly, scowling as he searched through reds and pinks for something he liked. Sevvy knew if he liked it Papa would love it.
At the end one room, Sevvy stopped. There it was – tall and slender like Papa, with a little bit of purpley color at the center of each of the beautiful little flowers.
“A lovely choice, sweetie,” the professor-lady cut him one.
Carefully, Sevvy carried it back to Daddy.
Harry smothered a laugh as Sevvy and Professor Sprout returned. Only his son would find a green flower for Valentine’s Day! Laurel kicked excitedly as her brother held his prize for Harry’s inspection.
“It is lovely, my little prince.”
The smile that lit his son’s face was precious. “Palimtapetifowamada!”
“Yes, Papa’ll love the pretty flower, Sevvy,” Harry assured him, catching Laurel’s hand as she reached for the pale green blossoms.
“Indeed,” Sprout agreed, leading them out of the hot-house. “A green orchid is perfect for Severus. Wonderful potion ingredient, you know, great medicinal value.”
Harry couldn’t help rolling his eyes.
Laurel wanted to breathe the sweetness of the thing that Sevvy had, but Daddy said it was for Papa. Papa wouldn’t mind if she smelled it first! She squirmed, reaching toward it, but Daddy shifted her away. Just as Laurel was going to protest loudly, Unicorn appeared and she giggled as she grabbed him.
Chewing on the golden horn, Laurel eyed the flower-thing Sevvy held. She wasn’t sure why Papa needed a present, but Laurel knew that all he really needed was to hold her when he came from his ‘tudents. Sevvy could even sit with them, Papa liked that.
The small box rode securely in his inner pocket as Severus scowled at the Hufflepuff in his way. He’d never understood these romantic gestures, but Harry’s delight always warmed him. Harry needn’t ever give him anything; his husband had gifted him with his heart, a commodity more precious than his own life and Severus cherished it. That love was all Severus would ever need.
“Papa!” Little Severus came running as he entered their rooms, a bedraggled stalk of orchids clasped tightly in his hand.
“Epipactis helleborine,” Severus lifted his son, “a perfect Valentine’s gift, my little serpent.”
The toddler beamed.
Harry loved to breathe the sharp sweetness of his beloved. He loved how Severus groaned into his arms as he braced against the tile of the shower wall. Tongue flicking and caressing the puckered, sensitive flesh, Harry’s fingertips lightly stroked his husband’s cock.
“Sweet Merlin, Harry! Fuck, yes…oh, gods, there!”
The new serpent pendant bounced against his chest as Harry turned Severus around, swallowing him to the root as Harry slid a finger into him. No material gift could match the love he felt between them or the wave of ecstasy he felt as Severus came hotly in his mouth.
