Severus shivered, the cold dungeon walls leaching the heat from him. The pressure and pain in his chest was unrelenting. Struggling weakly to breathe, he knew he’d been exposed as a traitor, knew he was dying. All alone in this hellish place where time had no meaning.

A cool hand stroked his forehead, gentle fingers carded through his hair as something cool trickled down his throat. The pain receded.

“Not hell, love, just a cold,” Harry’s amused voice. “No more betrayal, just me loving you.”

“Forever?” Severus demanded hoarsely, prying open a gummy eye.

“And always,” His beloved assured him.

	Not hell, love, just a cold I'm not surprised Snape can't tell the difference. (stupid flu season!) Why can't Thanksgiving be in July?
