"Hey!" Harry sat up and peered at the collar around Gaius' neck. "You two went and married, didn't you?" He knew he was grinning like a loon, but Harry knew just how far Regulus must have come in the past year to let himself be with Gaius, of all people.
He couldn't blame Gaius for looking happier than Harry had seen him since before Sirius passed. Sirius would never be forgotten, and Harry would always love him, but Harry had also understood Gaius' anguish at being left behind. "This is better," he murmured, forgetting that he was giving his happy thoughts voice.
