"I can just imagine!" Debi added a squeeze of lemon to her tea before taking a sip. "All wooden or plastic ornaments this year since she's trying to crawl already, plus I'm going to try a No-Tip charm so she doesn't pull it over on herself. Baby's first Christmas is going to be *fun*, not a nightmare, isn't it Sweetpea?"
Junior, as if proving her mother wrong, cackled and reached for a teaspoon. Debi opened her tesseract satchel, pulled out the portable baby seat from the depths, and lowered Junior into the baby-shaped padding. "Now, you be good - there's your rattle darling, be a good girl while Remus and I talk."
The baby immediately began gumming the pink plastic dumbbell. Debi gave her a fond smile, then reached back into the satchel for the reason she'd come over. "She's so much work, but I can't imagine life without her."
