Harry shrugged. "Obviously, you had the potential to be who you are right now even then. If there's one thing I learned from Snape -- and if you tell him I said this, I'll singe all the hair off your bollocks -- I learned that the capacity for good is always there in truly good people, even when they're trying to be bad."
He tugged at the bottom of his too-short tee self-consciously. "Guess that sounds naive to you," he said, face flushing. "But you left Voldemort in the first place. I think you've always been a good man. You just got turned around for a while."
